The 1961 Dwellingup fire, was one of the worst bushfires in Western Australian history. It devastated the jarrah-surrounded community of Dwellingup. You can learn more by watching this short documentary, which follows the story of three men who fought to save their wives and children as the fires came in. This film was developed in 2006 by the Department of Conservation and Land Management and the Fire & Emergency Services Authority in WA, with the assistance of the Bushfire Cooperative Research Centre.Department of Fire and Emergency Services
